Speciality grades
Sized, water-repellent or with special properties — for demanding applications.
Where standard board reaches its limits, speciality grades take over — for example when moisture, particular strength or specific surface properties are required.
Available grades
- Coloured board — single-sided, double-sided or solid-dyed, for design applications and material identification
- Wrap-up paper (Schrenz) — grey recycled paper, the classic choice for interleaving and basic packaging tasks
- TL (testliner) — top-liner paper made from recycled fibres, often used as a top layer for corrugated board
- KL (kraftliner) — top-liner paper made from virgin fibres with high strength, for demanding transport packaging
More speciality grades
Where standard board reaches its limits, speciality grades take over — for example when moisture, particular strength or specific surface properties are required:
- Sized board — higher strength and stiffness
- Water-repellent board — for humid environments
- High-white / high-purity grades — for sensitive industries
- Cushion board / special densities — for padding and impact protection

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between testliner (TL) and kraftliner (KL)?
Testliner is made of recycled fibres, kraftliner of virgin pulp. Because of its raw material, kraftliner is significantly stronger than testliner and is typically used as a top liner for demanding corrugated packaging.
What is coloured board used for in industrial packaging?
Coloured board is often used for material identification in logistics (e.g. different batches or component groups) as well as for design applications. We supply it single-sided, double-sided or solid-dyed.
When does water-repellent board make sense?
Whenever the goods are stored or transported in humid environments or need protection against weather or splash water. With a special coating we achieve the required moisture resistance.
Can you supply board with ESD, VCI or antistatic coating?
Yes, depending on the application we coat board with antistatic, ESD (for electronics) or VCI (corrosion protection for metal parts) finishes. Just describe your use case.
