Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between board and paperboard?
At grammages of 200 – 700 g/m² the material is called board, above 700 g/m² paperboard. In everyday packaging both terms are often used interchangeably, but technically the threshold is clear.
What is greyboard made of?
Greyboard is made of 100 % recovered paper. This makes it economical, very stable and fully recyclable — ideal as an interleaving sheet or pallet underlay.
In which forms can I order greyboard?
We supply greyboard as sheets, rolls, custom cuts to your dimensions, as discs with or without inner hole, and with individual finishing (drilled holes, punching, chamfered corners).
What is bookbinder's board used for?
Bookbinder's board (approx. 920 – 2,150 g/m², 1.5 – 3.5 mm thickness) is traditionally used for book covers, folders, ring binders and stable carrier items.
